At the very outset of your journey through these pages, we desire for you to know that we believe that Jesus Christ is God's only Son, and that He came to earth for the specific purpose of providing salvation for all who trust in Him. Salvation is forgiveness of sins and acceptance with God. He willingly accepted His mission to give His life a ransom for many. He is the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world. He gave His life as a bleeding sacrifice to reconcile God to man. His death on the cross was accepted by His Father as payment for our sins. Jesus died in our place, made satisfaction to God by taking the punishment we deserved and rose from the dead to give us eternal life. Salvation is possible only through faith in Jesus Christ. That God desires to save men is the most blessed teaching in the Bible as far as sinful man is concerned. We are praying that God will save you if you have never trusted Christ. If you are unsure about your eternal destiny, we pray that God will draw you to His Son, so that His Son can reveal the Father to you. By trusting Christ, you will be forgiven of all sin and will be completely accepted in God's sight.

Yet her denominational heritage extends back to the 17th century when our forefathers founded the first Baptist churches in England. Beyond this, our spiritual heritage extends back to the time of Christ and the apostles because our beliefs and practices are founded in the Scriptures. Our church, therefore, has a rich, historic heritage.
Our doctrinal beliefs are not new but are founded on the Bible in accordance with the interpretation of our forefathers. While many Christians are seeking a more contemporary church, where the Scriptures have been replaced with modern psychology and humanistic philosophy, we recognize that there is no Biblical or historical foundation for their pursuit. Our Baptist Church enjoys both a good Biblical and historical foundation. We believe that the forthright proclamation of the word of God is the only sure method of producing godly saints. Only the unsaved and the backslider who are disobedient and running from the Lord feel threatened when the Bible is preached.
