OUR MINISTRIES
NURSERY: Our nursery is staffed by ladies of First Baptist
Church, who love children and will make sure
your child has the best care possible.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: We have Sunday School classes for all ages.
This is a time we focus on getting deeper into
God's word. Sunday School classes start at
9:30am. Visitors are encouraged to attend.
CHILDREN'S CHURCH: We have children's church for children three years old through sixth grade. During Children's
church the kids will have a time of singing and a
sermon geared towards their age level. Children's
church begins at 10:30am on Sundays.
CHOIR: The choir at First Baptist Church sings God-
honoring, Christ-centered selections that bring
glory to God and a blessing to the listener.
sixth grade. This is a fun Bible Club with a goal to disciple children and teach them how to live for
God. This is accomplished through project
workbooks, badge projects, and scripture
memorization. Master Club is separated into
three age groups:
~ God's Little Shepherds: three year olds through
kindergarten
~ Scouts: first through third grades
~ Ambassadors: fourth through sixth grades
Master Club meets at 7:00pm every Wednesday.
YOUTH GROUP: Youth group is for seventh through twelfth graders.
Our youth meet for activites all through out the
year. Some of these activities include Bible
study, bowling, and all nighters, as well as other
special outings and events.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: We offer Vacation Bible School every
summer for children three years old
through sixth grade. This is a fun week for
the kids with singing, Bible lessons,
games, and snacks.
LADIES FELLOWSHIP: The women of First Baptist meet every second
Saturday of the month for a time of fellowship and Bible devotions. Meetings begin at 1:30pm.
NURSING HOME MINISTRY: Several times a year, one of our Elders and
our teens go and minister to nursing home
residents with a time of singing and a
sermon.
VISITATION: The first Wednesday of each month the
congregation of First Baptist Church goes on
visitation. This time is set aside to share
of our church who are unable to attend church
services regularly.
